What Is scent and sip?
At Scent & Sip, you create personally scented home, bath, hair care and body products. We have over 150 fragrances for you to blend with. You mix those into over 40 Scentable products. Not just candles!
The "Sip" part of our name is due to our BYOB policies. You are welcome to bring in the beverage of your choice while you enjoy this unique handcrafted experience and make great smelling stuff!

We are open by appointment only - Tuesday thru Sunday. Check out what is available here: Reservations

What kind of things can I make?
We proudly offer over 40 Scentable products. You can scent your own candles, tartlets, fragrance oil, reed diffusers, body lotion, bath gel, hair shine, cleansing conditioner, beard oil, bubble bath, lotion, sugar scrub, and more!
Most products are natural, cruelty-free, and most are organic.

How long will this take?
Sessions are for 1 hour. You might take less time than this, it depends on you and how many items you choose to create. Important! Candles, wax tarts, and bar soap take time to set. These will not be ready at the end of your session. You can arrange a pick-up time, or have them shipped ($8.50 per address).

- There is a $1.00 non-refundable booking fee per reservation.
- Each item purchased is priced per piece. Our standard products generally range from $12 - $45 per item.
- Additional room fees apply for the use of our Party Room, cancelations or no-shows.

What are your BYOB policies?
Light snacks and drinks (of any kind) are allowed. We have cups, wine & bottle openers available.
Can I bring in snacks and food?
Sure! We welcome you to enjoy some snacks while you make your Scentables. Please try to finish creating your Scentables before you snack. We want to be sure you have time to create what you would like.
While we do have a few tables set aside for your snacks, please refrain from bringing in full meals, and large trays of food. If you would like more time to enjoy a meal at our location our additional seating charge is $100 per hour for your group and must be booked in advance.

What age is this appropriate for?
If you can pour a glass of milk you can blend just about any of our products. If help is needed, we are here to help! We are proud to have hosted birthday parties from 4 to 101!
What kind of custom scents can I create?
The sky's the limit! We have over 150 fragrances to blend with. Our recommendation is that you blend 2 - 4 scents together for a perfectly balanced blend.
We will add or change some fragrances seasonally. If we do not have something you are looking for please let us know.

Do I call ahead to reserve seats?
Do you have a party room or packages?
- We can accommodate up to 35 people.
- Your guests will create their crafts in our open area and your food, drinks, and everything else will be set-up in the private area. The private room has 3 large rectangle tables, a buffet, a bar that seats 12, and a sofa - perfect for pictures.
- You can choose to have your guests decide what they would each like to create when they arrive or have your entire party create a package. Package rates are discounted.
- There is a $1.00 non-refundable booking fee. There is a less-than 7 days cancellation fee/no-show fee of $200. The booking credit card will be charged if needed.
- Room rental is $200 for the first 2 hours. This fee is waived for attendance of 10 or more guests.
- The room is yours for 2 hours, plus 15 minutes to set-up and clean-up. Additional time can be pre-booked at a rate of $50 per half hour. Extra time requested on the day of your event is at a rate of $75 per half hour (contingent on availability).
- Bring in whatever you like. Food, drinks, decorations...whatever!

Discounted package rates are always available for all groups of 4 or more. The only requirement is that the entire groups creates the same package.
Do you have kids party packages?
Yes, our packages are designed with kids in mind.
Can I personalize the label on my candle or other products?
Yes! We hope that you make this your own. We have customizable labels to color on and free gift-wrapping options.
Are you handicapped accessible?
Yes, a portion of our blending bar is table height with open legs. Our restroom is also handicapped accessible. If there are other accommodations that will make your experience more enjoyable, please just let us know.

Can I bring in my own container for to make into a candle?
We would love to turn your container into a candle. Pricing is $2.50 per oz of wax. We will not pour candles that are less then 4 oz.
Please be sure the container is flame safe & non-porous. If you are unsure, just give us a call or drop by to chat about it. Please bring your container in clean.

Do you use essential oils in your products?
No, we use fragrance oils. The FDA considers the ingredients of fragrance oils a "trade secret" so ingredients for individual fragrances cannot be provided. We will gladly share the ingredients of any of our bases.
Please note essential oils are generally not safe to burn in candles or heat. If you see this on a candle label please be cautious and never burn these candles around pets. In addition, essential oils have different flash points in candles and can burn too hot to be safe.

What is your Return Policy?
We will refund, in the method of the original payment, within 30 days of purchase with a receipt. We will also exchange the product if that is more desirable. Sorry, we can not refund or exchange custom scented products. Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have any problems or concerns with any of our products or services please let us know.
Do you make custom favors for weddings, events or private labeling?
Yes, we will work with you to develop your perfect custom product. From candles to glitter gel - whatever you like. Quantity discounts are available.
Do you offer Gift Cards?
Yes, we offer gift cards in any denomination at the store or you can send them electronically. You can also purchase an unscented product or container to wrap-up. We provide a card that explains what happens next!
Do I leave a tip?
Yes, tipping is common. Most guests use standard restaurant guidelines for gratuities. Cash, Venmo or Cash App tips please.
Groupon FAQS
What are non-peak hours?
Anytime Tues - Friday. Sorry, you can not redeem Groupon/Living Social vouchers on the weekends. Sorry, no exceptions.
what do i get to make with the voucher?
You are making a 7 oz candle in a tin container. If you would like to upgrade or change the products we will simply deduct what you paid for the voucher from your total bill. Sorry, we cannot combine this discount with any other offer or incentive. You are always welcome to create additional products while you are visiting.
How long will it take to make my candle?
On average, it will take approx. 30 mins to create your 7oz candle. After you blend your candle, it requires 45 mins to set before you can take it home. You are welcome to make other products in that time or come back another time or day to pick it up.
Can I substitute my candle offer for something else?
Yes, you can upgrade your purchase. We will deduct the cost of your voucher from your in-store total. This can not be combined with any other offer or incentive.
Do I need a reservation to use my groupon?
Yes - Just show us your voucher when you arrive! Sessions are for 1 hour. Most people complete their candle in about 45 minutes. After you create your candle it will need time with us to set before it can go home. You can come back to pick it up or have them shipped to you.

can i make other things while i am visiting?
Sure! The Groupon/Living Social offer can not be combined with any other in-store promotions .
can I have a Private party using groupons?
Sure! There will be a $200 private event fee.
My voucher expired will you honor it?
Yes, just make a reservation during Non-Peak hours and we will happily honor your expired voucher.

The Groupon candle typically takes about 30 minutes to set. If needed, we will arrange a pick-up time & day or you can have it shipped or delivered to you for $8.50. This is because it takes time for candles to set before they can be moved.
