If you love a softer, slightly sweet, and woody fragrance give this one a try. I get a bit of anise, fennel, and herbal notes off the top. What I smell the most of are warm nutmeg whiffs and loads of woody amber loveliness. For a softer fragrance, this makes for a good strong candle smell. This is often a winter go-to for me in body products. You will see loads of my favorite sugar scrub blends below. I have never tasted the liquor, that is on my bucket list! From what I have learned this scent doesn't smell like the liquor. More like the wormwood the Green Fairy is made from.
5 Blends to try with Absinthe
Champagne + Amber Musk = Soft, sexy, light, and lingering.
Tobacco Vanilla + Slate = The softer Absinthe and Tobacco fragrances lighten up the brisk Slate fragrance.
Bourbon + Champagne = All the drinks! Nice big and bold candle fragrance. Perfect for a den or bar.
Lavender Fields + Bubble Bath = A little soapy in a good way - kinda' a hipster spa scent.
Seafoam = Clean without smelling like soap. (my personal car scent of choice)
If you have had the drink or used the smell - I would love to hear what you think!
