SCENTS & SCENTSABILTY

Gin is a rich and complicated fragrance that I just love.  There is a rich, sweet earthiness to it that surrounds you with a warmth that keeps me coming back.  It starts tart and sweet than is quickly followed by juniper and spices.  The finish is filled with bay and lavender.  This is one of those fragrance that is perfect on its own but is easily blended with all sorts of fragrances.  There isn't anything that I wouldn't create with the Gin Fragrance.  A gin filled perfume - YES! Sign me up.  A warm and sensual gin infused body oil - yep!  

Muscadine is a sweet and pungent grape.  It is a strong fruit smell with hints of citrus that peak thru and almost a juicy raisin finish.  Muscadine is well suited for the sweet smell lovers who want something a little more grown-up.  It works well as a great balancer fragrance for stronger woody notes to.  Muscadine can hold its own against other strong fragrances without losing its identity.  Kids love this one in bubble bath and fizzy bath powder!  We have created many delicious perfumes that lean into this sweet and juicy fragrance for amazing results!

Patchouli is the cilantro of the fragrance world.  People either love it or hate it.  There is usually no middle ground with this strong fragrance.  I think that Patchouli is just a little miss-understood.  Most people would describe this scent as "earthy" & not in the good way.  If you haven't smelled it in a little bit take another whiff.  It is musky, woody, a little spicy, and sweet all at the same time.  Truth, it is not for people who want a light or airy kind of fragrance.  This is a bold statement scent that works equally well as a single scent or blended with other stronger scents to create something a little more unique.  I love this fragrance in Reed Diffusers and Wax Tarts.  It is a welcoming and grounding fragrance that warms up the space.

Our Ginger Ale fragrance smells like it is bursting with bubbles! Imagine cracking open a can of your favorite Ginger Ale and taking a deep breath.  That is this amazing fragrance.  The sweet ginger hits your nose first then is quickly followed up with the smell of bubbly soda, citrus, and peppery notes.  Ginger Ale is a great addition to any fruit that kind of creates a firecracker affect.  I love Ginger Ale in shower gels and other body products for a zingy experience. 

When I take a sniff of the Folk fragrance the song Blowin' in the Wind comes to mind.   This scent takes you to a music festival in a park, sitting on a blanket, while singing along to melodic tunes.  This earthy scent is loaded with patchouli and softened by sandalwood. The patchouli note offers this fragrance that grassy twang that most Grateful Dead fans know and love.   The sandalwood undertone brings in a wonderful sweet softness.  Folk fragrance works well for both home and body products.  My favorite is a rollerball mixed with English Ivy.  

Smells just like walking into your favorite mystic shop.  That place with tapestries on the walls, an incense cone burning somewhere, and loads of pretty crystals to admire.   It is heady with earthy patchouli and sweet incense.  Through those notes you can detect rose, sandalwood and just a hint of minty tobacco.  This one is a winner in my book!  Completely solid fragrance on its own but can be blended just as a easy.

If Fall inspired fragrances gives you warm feelings, you need to give this one a try!  It reminds me of how your clothes smell after you get off your favorite hay ride.  The fragrance begins with a woody cedar note,  then the smell of hay and grasses lingers.  I really do like this one!  It is perfect for a wood wick candle or a diffuser scent.  

What can I say about this one - it is just that smell of a fresh cut grass.  Of course, it is grassy and very green but there is a slight hint of a citrus in the background.  This is a definite sense memory hitter.  Like, watching a little league game or helping your parents with the lawn in the hot summer months.  In a single scent, this is a medium throw candle.  I love this one for home fragrance refresher on a dreary day.  It also can blend into a great gender neutral hand soap or sanitizer.

​Do you like Pina Coladas? Do you like them even more sitting beach side with the salty beach air hitting your face? Then you will love this fragrance! Beach Bar is a summer seasonal fragrance that will transport you to a happy place - after this year I know I can use a little escape. The first note that hits me when I smell it is sweet coconut with a little sweet pineapple. This finish is salty, mineral-y ocean air.  The candle fragrance on this isn't too sweet or much.  

This is a unique fragrance for sure!  It is like you opened that cover on an old musty book.  It is very minerally, and a little bitter.   This is one of those fragrances that people love or hate.  There is very little in-between.   I am a lover of it for home fragrances with some help from other fragrances.  This is one of those fragrances that needs friends with it to shine at it's best.  Just about anything you might find in a library works really well.  In-store we see this one used when making a thoughtful gift for a book lover.

For the love of Axe :) This is one of our best-selling fragrances for sure.  If you have ever been around a group of teenage boys - this is very reminiscent of the popular Axe fragrance.  A little bit like walking into an Abercrombie store.  What does Cologne smell like? It is a bright blend of basil, lavender, vanilla and oak moss.  It is boldly masculine at first, with a soft, subtle finish.  It is universally loved by men, women, and the teens.  Makes a perfect "mandle".  I often use this scent mixed with some warm notes for a bedroom reed diffuser. 

Incense is one of those fragrances that has taken me awhile to fall in love with.  It is very distinct, sweet, and strong.  We just couldn't get along - at first.  Than, overtime, we have become friends. The kind of friend that you can go a couple of months without talking but can pick-up right in the middle of a conversation.  It is a sweet and spicy - wood note fragrance with a resin finish.  The single scented candle is strong.  This is one my teenage daughter often chooses and the whole house fills up with the fragrance.  I like this one in my oil diffuser mixed with something soft.
