Awapuhi Fragrance Review

Awapuhi is a tropical flower in the ginger family.  If you have ever smelled the original Paul Mitchell shampoo you know what this smell like.  They use Awapuhi in their products.  This is a summery floral that is not too sweet with no sharp edges.  It is similar to bergamot with berries and a touch of coconut.  I have never been to Hawaii but I imagine it smells just like this. The candle burn is lovely!  For me, I usually choose this one for shampoo and shower gels because it does have a soft and clean vibe.

5 Blends to try with Awapuhi

1. Orchid + Plumeria + Hawaiian Lei = A tropical floral dream.  
2. Absinthe + Coconut = A warm floral blend.
3. Mango + Verbena = Super happy feeling fragrance - If you want something a little sweet try this one.
4. Whisper + Slate = A great unisex cologne smell. 
5. Rain + Basil = A little green, thanks to the basil but wonderfully clean and fresh scent.
