Patchouli is the cilantro of the fragrance world. People either love it or hate it. There is usually no middle ground with this strong fragrance. I think that Patchouli is just a little miss-understood. Most people would describe this scent as "earthy" & not in the good way. If you haven't smelled it in a little bit take another whiff. It is musky, woody, a little spicy, and sweet all at the same time. Truth, it is not for people who want a light or airy kind of fragrance. This is a bold statement scent that works equally well as a single scent or blended with other stronger scents to create something a little more unique. I love this fragrance in Reed Diffusers and Wax Tarts. It is a welcoming and grounding fragrance that warms up the space.
5 blends to try with Patchouli
Balsam Fir + Cranberry + Frankincense = I different kind of holiday scent that is warm, sweet, and musky.
Wild Currant + Seafoam = This is a refreshingly clean scent without being floral and this is hard to find!
Violet + Rose Petals = Strong, powerful - yet well balanced operatic floral fragrance.
Vanilla + Sandalwood = A long standing classic for a reason! Warm, smooth with a buttery finish.
Brimstone + Peppercorn = Smells just like walking into an old castle or museum.
